Ingredients

1/4 in. slices Rumproast

Pickle spears sliced

Bacon strips

Directions

  1. Spread slices of on counter and tenderize with mallet
  2. Salt and pepper each slice to taste
  3. Sprinkle each slice with chopped onion
  4. Cut pickles in strips and lay 2 on each slice
  5. Cut crisped bacon in half and lay on each slice
  6. Roll meat and hold them together with 2 toothpicks
  7. Brown all sides of meat on skillet using a bit of oil or shortening
  8. Place in baking dish one layer deep
  9. Add water to dish
  10. Cover dish with tin foil
  11. Bake 3 hours at 350 degrees Fahrenheit
  12. Make gravy using the cooked juice by adding flour to thicken and add a little cream
