Directions
- Spread slices of on counter and tenderize with mallet
- Salt and pepper each slice to taste
- Sprinkle each slice with chopped onion
- Cut pickles in strips and lay 2 on each slice
- Cut crisped bacon in half and lay on each slice
- Roll meat and hold them together with 2 toothpicks
- Brown all sides of meat on skillet using a bit of oil or shortening
- Place in baking dish one layer deep
- Add water to dish
- Cover dish with tin foil
- Bake 3 hours at 350 degrees Fahrenheit
- Make gravy using the cooked juice by adding flour to thicken and add a little cream
